"Throw out your books, go into the streets!": Legacies of Japan's 1968

Thanks to Aleksandra Kobiljski, I had the chance to talk at EHESS (École des hautes études en sciences sociales / School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences) on October 3, 2018 on the legacies of Japan's 1968, fifty years later.

It was a pleasure to speak on the fiftieth anniversary of 1968 in Paris, although the still raw and contested history of student occupations and demonstrations in France made the Terayama Shuji-inspired title a bit provocative.
