Visualizing Coed Revolution

I've started giving book talks, entirely over Zoom, which can be rather lonely. But I'm also learning a lot about what I wrote about through talking about it, and through getting questions and comments that help me think about the material in new ways.

In particular, speaking to undergraduate students has been really fun. Last October I got to speak to Nathan Hopson's class at Nagoya University, and the students made a visualization of my talk. I love it so much! I feel like I used to think more visually about information, but over time, even as perhaps I've become more sophisticated in analyzing text, I feel that I've also become biased towards texts as source and form of expressing my thoughts.

I'd like to share here, with Prof. Hopson's permission, the collective visual notes they made. I think it gives a pretty great sense of what the book is about!
